Instructions for the Multi-Technique 1" Phylbert Brush
|
1. Seal wood: Use both sides with a slip slap motion.
2. Basecoat: Use both sides with a slip slap motion.
3. Float color: Keep brush fairly wet with water and/or medium,
blending on both sides of brush thoroughly.
4. Glaze: Mix very wet brush with glazing medium plus paint,
blending thoroughly on the palette.
5. Wash: Use wet brush (with water) plus paint,
mixing thoroughly on the palette.
6. Large leaves: Use a well loaded and blended brush,
applying heavy pressure to both blending and painting.
7.Varnish: Use both sides with a fair amount of pressure.
Has no hard edge to create ridges.
8. Tin: This brush is perfect for basecoating tin;
use very thin paint and a slip slap motion.
9. Clouds: Use a fairly wet brush with a sideload
of cloud color to float large cloud areas.
10. Great for landscapes, water areas, and snow scenes.
Keep a fair amount of water and/or medium in the well blended brush.
